Random
October, 2023
Random issue 2 features mainly 2 projects: a photography project named “Collect: shapes” that documents a journey about shapes and texture in the central residential area in Milan. Started as a research of window shapes, it ended up being a mixture of shapes, textures, moments and composition. Following that, you’ll find another photography project that documents what I saw guided by a stranger on the deviated paths in the North Park in Milan. This journey about exploring the unfamiliar and breaking the ordinary was named “Deviated: unfamiliar path”.

Random issue 1 is divided into 4 sections: Fantasy, Stories, Words and Playground. “Fantasy” features a photography project named “Objects Talking” that forms a conversation between objects, humans and nature. “Stories” features a man-made photo-story about moments and time called “Another Sunset” by pairing a selection of quotes from literature with private photos taken in Italy and Cambodia in the 1925-1960s by an unknown Milanese family. In the last two sections you’ll find short writings, prints, drawings and suggested music.
